Kate leads the investment team at The Mills Fabrica, investing in early-stage startups and mission-aligned VC funds with a focus on global agrifood tech and techstyle (textiles/biomaterials) innovations. She was previously a hedge fund consultant at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, helping hedge fund startups and global managers build and expand their businesses in Asia. Kate was also a Fellow with Mana Impact Partners in Singapore where she conducted investment research on carbon markets, regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions. In a personal capacity, Kate is passionate about developing blended finance for social and climate impact, having been involved in several cross-sector financing strategy projects in Asia and the UK.
Kate received her MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge as a Youde Scholar, and a B.B.A. in Global Business Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
