Alice Suen is the Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Finance and Investment, HSBC Hong Kong. She engages with Hong Kong’s broad sustainable finance ecosystem looking for opportunities to leverage HSBC’s capabilities and market position to support sustainable market development and deliver new solutions to address local, regional and global needs. She is responsible for driving the Sustainable Finance agenda among the Bank’s customers, enhancing business customer’s awareness and understanding towards sustainability, supporting clients in the development of sustainability and transition strategies, and assisting them in disclosure to gain better access to financial markets.
Having worked in the financial services industry for almost 20 years, Alice has a wealth of experience across frontline relationship management, business strategy, and people management. She has a dedicated focus on Greater China Business, and she has previously worked in Shanghai and the Greater Bay Area.
Outside of her professional career, Alice is an enthusiast in ESG-related volunteering activities.
